Exactly. And even though it normally takes two Pokemon to make eggs, one of which matches the species, we've certainly seen eggs that appear to be some of the more rare species. So that separates it into two questions, really. How are the eggs created, and how do they get to us? I suppose some all-powerful being could manage both, but that seems a little too naive to be reasonable.
