Feather 12 [Video]
[ Not that January 1st was actually Joshua's birthday instead of just being a handy date to roll up his age one more year, but Joshua couldn't help the feeling that somehow Johto had hatched his shiny new egg into a... well, shiny new male fox, of all things, this day on purpose.
It probably could only have been more on the mark if the thing had been some combination of grey, blue, and/or purple. ]
Since this isn't exactly the first time it seems everyone spontaneously obtained an egg all at once, I'm going to ask a different question. Do we have any idea what determines which Pokemon we each receive?
[ And if anyone happens to be in Cianwood, Joshua can be found towards the outskirts of the city, sitting sideways on an Absol, Espeon on shoulder and a newly hatched golden Vulpix on his lap, all four of them watching as a Luxray happily bounds about on the sand and knocks out any Pokemon it scares up with its antics. ]

So, exactly what does she feel about this comment? She's a little mixed. On one hand, it's quite a ballsy thing to say. Especially compared to how most people (ironically for a place that thrives itself upon battling) shy away from conflict. On the other hand, she's pretty sure he's no different from any other person, and, therefore, his scope of things is limited because he lacks the experience.
So, Joshua, have some chuckling. ]
My, my, my. It appears a lot of living is still left for you do. [ she's recommending at least a hundred years. ]

Joshua isn't bothered by her assessment. He's seen the worst and the best that humanity can offer, and he himself has even been swayed by it. He's been doing what he does for long enough to learn that often, the way one views humanity is rooted deep within one's own perspective. In fact, the more experience you have, the more true that becomes. ]
I certainly hope so. But that doesn't mean I haven't already seen plenty. Perhaps you've been missing out.

I've doubt it. I've seen enough sides as I've wished. The experiences tend to blur together after awhile. [ It's like the first move of a chess game, or something. It doesn't really concern Lust beyond the fact that she still will never care for people. ]
